Last updated October 24, 2026

CommWatch is made by Eighty32 Show Tech LLC. If you got it from the Mac App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. These notes sit on top of that.

It's a monitoring tool

CommWatch watches your Clear-Com Arcadia system and can change crosspoints when you tell it to. It doesn't replace your CCM, your comms tech or your judgment. Double check anything that matters before showtime.

Recording people

The Dante recorder, black box and transcripts can capture what people say on comms. You're responsible for telling your crew and following the recording laws where you work.

No warranty

CommWatch is free and provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Eighty32 Show Tech LLC isn't liable for show stops, missed cues, lost recordings or anything else that happens while using it.

Trademarks

Clear-Com, Arcadia and FreeSpeak are trademarks of Clear-Com LLC. Dante is a trademark of Audinate. Eighty32 isn't affiliated with or endorsed by either.

Open source

CommWatch includes open source software, including FFmpeg under the LGPL 2.1. License texts ship inside the app.
